Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Information and News Service
The Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Information and News Service disseminates information on all aspects of this problem to institutions and individuals involved in control programmes in Africa. Set up in 1978, it was designed to be of particular use to field workers and others with limited access to the primary literature Nearly 1500 people receive copies of the Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Information Quarterly (TTIQ) in either English or French. It covers all aspects of the disease and its vectors, and includes abstracts of scientific papers and reports that deal with both human and animal trypanosomiasis. Full bibliographic references are always given, together with details on how reprints may be obtained. TTIQ also has a news section that includes notices of forthcoming meetings, courses and other announcements. The Service is jointly sponsored by numerous international organizations and has received grants from the CEC and CTA. TTIQ is prepared by the Overseas Development Natural Resources Institute and is available free-ofcharge to all non-commercial recipients in Africa.
