Livestock production and diseases in the tropics, the achievements and difficulties and future prospects for integrated approaches, will be the subjects of the 6th International Conference of the Institutions of Tropical Veterinary Medicine. The conference will be held from August 28 to September 1 1989 ,at the International Agriculture Centre at Wageningen in the Netherlands and will be organized by the Netherlands Programme Committee and the Association of Institutes for Tropical Veterinary Medicine.
