The International Soil Conservation Organization (ISCO) is to hold its sixth international conference from November 6 - 18 1989 in Ethiopia and Kenya. The focus of the conference will be on small-scale farming systems and on positive and negative experiences in soil conservation implementation. Cultural and political conditions will be subjected to a critical analysis in relation to soil conservation for survival.
