Seed Sowers Joint PVO/University Rural Development Center Bird Building Western Carolina University Cullowhee, NC 28723 USA
The first issue of the newsletter of the On-Farm Seed Project in Senegal and the Gambia, called Seed Sowers, came out earlier this year. Published quarterly by the Joint PVO/University Rural Development Center, it is aimed at fellow project collaborators as well as those interested in the project. It is intended to promote communication and participation among all organizations collaborating in the Project, to assist farmers at the local level in Senegal and the Gambia in adapting and using improved methods of seed production harvesting, processing and storage. The newsletter will feature project-related articles, news of the programme, and both technical and educational articles. Each issue will focus on the work of a collaborator or project in each country. For more details, contact.
