    Abstract/Description
A seminar / workshop on research policy implications for national agricultural research systems
    Notes
In September 1988 a workshop on agricultural research policy was held at the Food and Agriculture Development Centre of DSE (the German Foundation for International Development) in Feldafing, Bavaria, cosponsored by ISNAR (the International Service for National Agricultural Research), DSE, and CTA. It brought together key national research leaders and policy-level decision makes from developing countries and leading scientists and policy analysts from the global research community. They addressed the issue of the continual adjustments which have to be made by agricultural research institutions in developing countries in order to keep pace with the changing dynamics of the domestic and external environments in which they operate. National research leaders who take crucial decisions must be fully infgrmed of the key variables at work. The proceedings of this meeting are now available, edited by Emil Javier and Ulf Renborg, from DSE, CTA, and the publishers. Available from: ISNAR- PO Box 93375 2509 AJ The Hague - THE NETHERLANDS
