conference Farmer strategies for market orientation in ACP countries Dublin, Republic of Ireland, 22-27 October 1995
The problems and constraints which affect the flow of produce from farm to consumption are often unique to the particular situation and, in consequence, the solutions which are applied may be equally unique. But although the applications may vary, the principles remain very much the same and it was from this standpoint that CTA promoted a conference to discuss and determine these principles in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, 22-27 October. The conference Farmer strategies for market orientation in ACP countries was organized in association with the Irish national agricultural organization Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. The conference is reported in this edition of Spore pages 1-4 New market opportunities for enterprising farmers, and proceedings of the conference will be available in due course.
