    Notes
Another post-harvest database The FAO has launched the Information Network on Post-Harvest Operations (INPhO), an extensive database covering the full length of the post-harvest chain, from the field to the consumer. The data on cereals, for example, cover harvesting, threshing, cleaning, transport, drying, storage, protection, processing and finally distribution to consumers. It is a very useful database for people working to improve the producer-consumer chain, and to speed up and widen the availability of foodstuffs. A CD-ROM version of INPhO is being planned.
