is a ring-bound collection of 18 of the South Pacific Commission's highly popular food leaflets. The leaflets provide general background information on each food and are designed to increase awareness of the variety of food available in the Pacific Islands. Hints on storage, preservation and some recipes are included The nutritional value is compared with that of other commonly eaten foods. As most of the described foods are also found in the other ACP regions, the leaflets should be of equal interest to nutritionists and the food processing industry elsewhere.
