Candidates should be directly or indirectly engaged in community forestry programmes as part of rural development programmes for conservation of natural resources and biodiversity. The modularization of the courses enables for the first time a mix of 'epidemiology' and diagnostics laboratory' modules to be taken, reflecting the needs of those involved in national or international animal disease control.
