CD-ROMs for sustainable development and basic human needs
Through the initiative of an organization based in Belgium, which has produced CD-ROMs for sustainable development and basic human needs, it is possible to access the complete text of some 300 practical reference books and reports. This ambitious CD-ROM project is the result of the collaboration of 25 organizations including GTZ-ISAT, FAO, SKAT and BOSTID. Editions of Spore Nos 1 to 61 and the FAO review Ceres can be accessed. The CD-ROMs are designed to respond to a variety of different needs and contain much practical information from different disciplines concerned with development and the alleviation of poverty. The cost of a series of five to ten CDs is expected to be approximately US$50. Global Help Project vzw & Humanity CD Ltd Oosterveldlaan 196, B-2610 Antwerp, BELGIUM
