The Caribbean Network For Integrated Rural Development (CNIRD) has published a second edition of the Directory of rural development resources in the Car\EDbbean. This new edition takes into account the changes that have occured in the NGO movement and aims to provide useful information to the various developmental agencies within and outside the region. The Directory contains information on a total of 97 organizations working for the betterment of rural communities in the region. The information is resented in three parts. Part I deals mainly with national organizations, Part 2 with sub-regional and regional organizations, while Part 3 is concerned with international organizations. Information about each organization is presented under the headings of: Brief Description, Objectives, Activities, Resources and Collaboration. The overall aim of this Directory is to help publicize the NGO resources available to rural communities in the Caribbean so that appropriate use may be made of them.
