Notes
Namibian Economist, May 2002
AGRA is Namibia´s only on-line agriculture trading facility, offering livestock sales, general information on agriculture prices, a genetics library and movable goods. In spite of the new venture, there are some setbacks facing the use of the information highway - most of the farmers in the country have no access to the Internet, and still prefer the traditional way of doing business. About 95% of commercial farmers are members of AGRA.
