Report of the TAC Mission to the IBPGR Programme at Boulder, Colorado

Abstract

Report of the TAC Mission sent to Boulder, Colorado to review the University of Colorado's program on plant genetic resources information contracted with IBPGR. The mission studied how well the program served IBPGR objectives in data collection, documentation, and communication with respect to plant genetic resources internationally. It concluded that the work so far was in effect a pilot project and made recommendations for expanded future effort, and the necessary administrative structures. At the end of the file there is a progress report on the Quinquennial review of IBPGR, to which the mission to Boulder may be considered an input.
