Statement on world food and agricultural trends presented every two years to the CGIAR annual meeting by the IFPRI Director General. Per Pinstrup-Andersen discussed past and expected future trends in food consumption and production, and identified actions needed to assist developing countries to achieve improved and sustainable household food security. Presented at the CGIAR International Centers Week, October 1993.
