    Abstract/Description
    Memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed on October 18, 1999 between Floyd P. Horn, Administrator, Agricultural Research Service at USDA and Pedro Sanchez, Chair, Center Directors Committee, for the CGIAR. The purpose of the MOU is to strengthen the cooperation between the Parties in a collaborative effort to lead the world towards a better future through agricultural research and information. To this end, the Parties agree jointly to explore and coordinate research activities of mutual interest which will be implemented by mutual understanding and in conformity with the regulations and policies of both parties. Attached record does not contain signatures.
