Abstract

A draft record of the meeting provides information on the impact of the US Tax Reform Act and retirement plan issues for international staff. Center Directors consider a presentation by Winrock to provide services for payroll and purchasing to the centers; they discuss the release of the publication International Agricultural Research Needs in sub-Saharan Africa; Current Problems and Future Imperatives: Issues and Options for the CGIAR and the activities of the fund raising committee on the stabilization fund, IFAR and future funding. Center Directors also consider reconstitution of the fund raising committee into a Finance Committee with background support from the CGIAR.
