Co-ordination of Assistance for Post Harvest Systems Research

Abstract

Memorandum from the CGIAR Secretariat to members of the Consultative Group on coordinating assistance for post harvest systems research. This followed an IDRC report to TAC that called for no new institution devoted to the matter, but rather an integration of efforts between IRRI and other centers, including a number of regional and national research institutions in South and Southeast Asia. The Secretariat, following consultation with members, recommended against establishing a formal coordination committee. Agenda document presented at CGIAR meeting October 1975.
