Excerpt from the seventh ExCo meeting held September 13-14, 2004. This excerpt contains comments from the Science Council, the CGIAR Secretariat, and the CP Coordinator. Based on the comments, ExCo recommended the approval of the Generation CP beyond its inception stage. This document was discussed at the CGIAR Business Meeting at AGM 2004.
