Abstract/Description

This study presents an in‑depth analysis of household survey data and focus group discussions conducted under the AICCRA Gender and Social Inclusion (GSI) project, assessing gender and climate empowerment outcomes across rural communities in Zambia. A total of 96 households were surveyed across Central and Eastern Provinces, complemented by focus group discussions, key informant interviews and testimonies from farmers, cooperative leaders, and youth groups. The findings highlight the transformative impact of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and Climate Information Services (CIS) on livelihoods, empowerment and resilience, while also identifying persistent challenges that require targeted interventions.
