Abstract/Description
Four page cover memorandum from the CGIAR Secretariat, transmitting the Report of the CGIAR Forestry Working Group chaired by Robert Herdt. The memorandum outlines the issues to be considered by the Group. The report proposes a CGIAR center for research on forestry in the tropics and subtropics, separate from ICRAF which would receive CGIAR support to work on agroforestry.Presented for consideration at the CGIAR Mid Term Meeting, May 1991.
