A Proposed Agenda for Additional Research into Living Aquatic Resources Management, with Emphasis on Africa and West Asia

A proposal from ICLARM for research to be based at a facility in Abbassa, Egypt, offered to the center by the Egyptian Government. It was developed at a workshop in Cairo in September 1995. Six resource systems and research related activities were considered: 1) coral reef systems; 2) coastal aquatic resource systems; 3) inland aquatic resource systems; 4) African great lakes and reservoirs; 5) co-management and social sciences; and 6) partnerships between NARS and ICLARM
