Assays were developed to discriminate the main haplotypes forms Objectives: develop new breeder-friendly molecular-markers for grain partitioning traits that permit photosynthetic products to be consistently translated to grain yield, screen genetic resources and identify mechanisms determining grain partitioning in high biomass backgrounds and traits accordingly, and design ideal plant ideotypes
