Minutes of the Center Directors Meeting of 23 October 1990 in Washington presents the Center Directors views on TAC’s paper on expansion of the system and implications resulting from the incorporation of resource management into CG activities, its views on the progress made by IFAR in attracting non-traditional support to the Centers, TAC’s priority setting and agreement that the resource allocation process for core unrestricted should be related to the priorities while special projects should be outside the resource allocation process. On the safe duplication of germplasm, the CDC requested IBPGR to identify collections most at risk, identify alternative sites for temporary duplications and lay out options for the longer term.
