Abstract/Description
One of six papers submitted by TAC for discussion at ICW95 as part of the process of revising CGIAR priorities and strategies. This one deals with the role of poverty in CGIAR priority setting. It describes TAC's planned use of congruence analysis to introduce poverty levels as a weight in ascribing priority to various CGIAR activities.TAC asks the CGIAR to comment on the relative emphasis to be given to the poorest, rural as opposed to urban poor, and comparable levels of poverty without respect to geographic region or agroecological environment.Agenda document at CGIAR International Centers Week, October - November 1995.
