Creation of a Special Activities Account for the CGIAR

A proposal by the CGIAR Secretariat, arising out of a discussion which took place at the CGIAR Mid Term Meeting in 1983, for a single account to finance a range of nonroutine activities, currently handled on an ad hoc basis. Illustrative items included the CGIAR impact study, management reviews of centers, studies intended to improve the system, and public affairs initiatives.
