Some of the most important macroeconomic policy implications derived from the studies and policy experience reported in this book were discussed in chapter 23. This chapter attempts to summarize the microeconomic policy implications, with emphasis on lessons useful for the choice, design, modifications, and implementation of future food policy measures, including food subsidies.
