1991 CGIAR Annual Report

Report of the CGIAR covering the year 1991. It contains a short overall description of the work of the Group, an introduction by CGIAR Executive Secretary Alexander von der Osten, and a paragraph on each IARC.The first chapter reviews developments during the year, including the five year review of CGIAR priorities, and the World Food Council's appeal for a renewed Green Revolution. It is interspersed with boxes on research results at different centers. The following chapter discusses the incorporation of forestry and agroforestry research into the CGIAR, and future plans in this area. A final chapter describes the Group's finances in 1991.
