News release announcing CGIAR-FAO agreement regarding the future trusteeship role of the CGIAR centers in keeping with the Convention on Biological Diversity, under which the Centers confirm that they will not allow any intellectual property protection on the germplasm it collects, ensuring its continued availability to the national institutes and programs that use it.
