dcterms.abstractThis year, the IITA Sportsfest with the theme, “Fit for Life: Energise, Exercise, Excel,” reflects our commitment to building a vibrant, healthy, and high-performing workforce. The closing ceremony of the Sportsfest which continues to be a key platform for strengthening camaraderie, promoting work-life balance, and fostering team spirit across all levels of IITA came to an end at the IITA headquarters in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria after spanning a period of 4 months. The games rounded off with the Male finale football match, Awards, the closing speech from the Director General of IITA Dr. Simeon Ehui, recognition of awardees of the Africa Food Prize Laureate 2025, and the 2025, Best Communication Program in the United Emirates.en
