News release announcing that a new breed of super rice that can produce 25 percent more grain on the same amount of land and help feed an additional 450 million people a year has been developed by scientists at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), one of the 17 centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).
