Livestock sector climate finance flows in selected African countries: Synthesis

This synthesis presents the key findings of an assessment conducted across six African countries – Nigeria, Chad, Madagascar, Botswana, Zambia, and Kenya – to identify and analyze the existing climate finance flows within the livestock sector between 2015 and 2025. The analysis reveals both shared structural patterns and important country-level contrasts that shape the livestock sector’s ability to respond to climate risks.
