Abstract/Description
IRRI has been supporting the Government of Vietnam to build a climate-smart rice sector and achieve its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). With the support of CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security and Climate and Clean Air Coalition, IRRI has developed and implemented alternate wetting and drying technology (AWD) in Vietnam to reduce methane emissions from rice production.
