Understanding farmer objectives

Assesses farmers' objectives to establish the framework for a small ruminant production project in the coastal subhumid zone of Kenya; examines the tools available for understanding farmers objectives for a research/Development project, namely, livestock statistics, special focused studies, outcome of Development projects and experiences, in order to develop and to increase the probability of adoption of appropriate and acceptable technologies.
