Abstract/Description
The Bangladesh Policy Research and Strategy Support Program (PRSSP), implemented by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), designed and conducted a telephone survey to capture the differential effects of COVID-19 on women during the first five months (April-August 2020) of the coronavirus outbreak in Bangladesh. This report provides the survey findings, focusing on changes in economic status, food and water security, empowerment of women, and domestic conflicts within the household since the start of the pandemic.
