System Review Follow-Up: Policy Research

Paper prepared by the Center Directors Committee at the request of the CGIAR Consultative Council on Recommendation 7 related to policy research in the third System Review, together with a TAC commentary. The CDC preferred not to start a systemwide initiative on policy research on policy, but to enhance existing mechanisms. The Council agreed. There was also agreement on greater emphasis on social and management sciences and policy research.
