CRP 1.1: CGIAR Research Program on Dryland Systems

This program aims to pursue new technology, institutional and policy options for enhancing productivity and managing risks through diversification, sustainable intensification and integrated agro-ecosystem approaches in dry areas.  The program will be implemented under the leadership of ICARDA headquartered in Syria and with an initial 3 year budget of US$123 million.  This version of the proposal was discussed at the 4th Fund Council meeting in April 2011.
