Sources of some architectural traits in dry bush beans, Phaseolus vulgaris L

A brief reference is made to new bean germplasm accessions and breeding lines identified at CIAT with specific architectural traits. Examples are given for type I bush beans with 10 or more nodes on the main stem, erect branching, suppressed branching, short foliage and internodes, lanceolate leaves, small pods and long pods.
