Generating Revenues & Opportunities for Women to Improve Nutrition in Ghana (GROWING) Project. Project Implementation Plan (PIP)

The GROWING project’s 2024 Annual Technical Report documents the consolidation and scaling up of an integrated approach to improving nutrition, income, and climate resilience for rural women and households in northern Ghana. During 2024, the project strengthened the adoption of orange-fleshed sweet potato (OFSP), expanded women-led agro-processing initiatives, deepened nutrition education, and reinforced community-based savings and entrepreneurship mechanisms. The report highlights progress in institutionalizing nutrition-sensitive approaches, improvements in monitoring and learning systems, and greater engagement with local and national authorities. Overall, the report positions GROWING as a mature and replicable model of inclusive, climate-responsive food systems in West Africa, aligned with CGIAR’s strategic priorities.
