Abstract/Description

The ASEAN-CGIAR Innovate for Food and Nutrition Security Regional Program was established to strengthen regional collaboration on science-based innovations that build climate-resilient agri-food systems, improve livelihoods across value chains, and ensure more affordable and nutritious food while safeguarding the environment across ASEAN Member States. By Year 3, the program had moved beyond identifying and piloting innovations across eight Intervention Packages to a more deliberate focus on how the most promising innovations can translate into impact at scale. This shift was reflected in the 2025–26 establishment of IP1+, which synthesized results from IPs 1–8, focused on Cambodia and Lao PDR, and concentrated on strengthening scaling pathways and enabling environments for regenerative agriculture. During the closing workshop, the Program emphasized “from innovation to impact” and “beyond the farm,” highlighting results, outcomes, scaling-readiness insights, lessons learned, and next steps for regional collaboration and resource mobilization beyond 2026.
