Abstract/Description

This report presents a framework for advancing disability-inclusive agriculture in Rwanda, based on evidence generated through a participatory capacity-strengthening workshop with farmers living with disabilities. It identifies structural barriers to inclusion across information access, service delivery, and economic and policy systems, and proposes practical mechanisms for responsible scaling that ensure equitable participation. By integrating accessible extension materials, inclusive service models, and targeted economic empowerment measures, the framework demonstrates how agriculture can become a driver of productivity, dignity, and social inclusion while strengthening resilient and equitable food systems.
